Ok ... I was asked to come here as I am stumped ... I can't see why the dam thing don't work and a PHP guy tried to help me but couldn't.

Here is the file later adding some stuff to get rid of the ERRORS.

Now can anyone see WHY it won't add the messages or refresh and add them to the DATA.DAT file ... BTW that file is a flat file with mainly HTML in it ... U can see it HERE if needed.

I am stumped as always BUT so is my friend that has some clue on PHP... He is the one helped me add the coding to get rid of the ERRORS.

firstly can i say that is the worst coded thing i have ever seen in my life 🙂

if that is the ACTUAL shoutbox then i have NO idea how that got famous becoz it looks like it was programmed by an infant.

and use $_REQUEST['act'] if it is coming from the url or by post.

and i cant be bothered readinf thru nemore cuz its a total mess.

if u programmed it then ignore the flaming above, becoz as u confess ur a n00b, these insults r only if it is the official shoutbox.

hehe ... thanks ... I understand and it is the official download of it ... lol, Since you guys know better than me I think on your assumption it may be better to scrap it ... thanks for input.
