I have a php file, hello.php, 3 guesses what it does 🙂
Works beautifully from the command line:
./php hello.php
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.2.2
Content-type: text/html
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Untitled</title>
</head>
<body>
Hello World!
</body>
</html>
But bombs out from a web browser with the dread "500 Internal Server Error" and the error log gives the dread "Premature end of script headers:"
This has got to be the most common error, but I can't find a solution. Please don't flame me with RTFM, I've spent 2 DAYS RTFM-ing, thank you. The nice person who gets me out of this will get a wonderful jar of homemade jam, which is what I'll be making as soon as I get this working...
