Can anyone recommend a free webhosting service (I don't mind ads etc. as I just want this to test some stuff on) which offers PHP4 & mySQL?

hmm thanks for that :rolleyes:.....I need to show the site to the people I'm developing it for but don't want to upload it to their servers yet and they're nowhere near me so can't do it on a standalone.

You looking for a US based host I assume?
You could try www.portland.co.uk and get a sub as "whatever.port5.com". They have mysql and php, no ads, free, and is pretty good for small sites.🙂
no problem bormuff98 that's what Sunday nights are for. 😃 No I'm in the UK so don't mind where the host is particularly.
