I'm hosting my website on a 100megswebhosting account, I am currently on their advanced plan which is $20 p/m and comes with loads of features, including cgi, php, mysql, 10 gb bandwidth p/m, 1gb storage, a good control panel, a bunch of pre-made scripts you can install that might be useful, and a bunch of other extras like detailed statistics, error logs, u can password folders via htaccess. It's an overall good host!

As I said I am on their advanced plan which is the most expensive, except the high availability plan, but I don't think you will pay what they are asking for that, if you are on a low cost budget.
