URL creation using name of thumbnail

I own a wallpaper site and the code I use for my thumbnails is:

As you can see the name of the thumnail and the full size wallpaper are exactly the same.
However, when adding a large number of wallpapers there are often typing errors in the link URL.

Is there anything I can do which calls the name of the thumbnail into the link URL, therefore I am certain the the link will go to the correct place?

If you have a function to write the link onto the page you can have:

Thanks, thats what I wanted if I could get it working.

I simply copied and pasted the code you provided and saved the file. The file can be found at http://babewalls.host.sk/babes/test.php and idea why its not working?

This method will bump up the size of my page quite alot when I have 12 thumbnails on each page but its still a lot better than my current method.

Also, what do you mean by the style versus class debate? How can I make my code simpler?
