How I can send a mail using mail() function if the mail server is installed on another computer using Lotus notes? (It wasn't an idea of mine, don't flame me :-) )

1 ) try using the lotus domino client on your machine
Then you can send the mail to the server from your machine as PHP sever.

2) Also You can install PHP where the lotus domino mail server in installed. In This case configer the PHP server as you configure the simple outlook express for POP3 Mail sever..

I have already installed lotus domino client on my machine.
Listen, for example the lotus mail server address is 10.10.10.1;
php server is 10.10.10.84. I configured php.ini with SMTP = 10.10.10.1; Have you an idea of what I could do?
