Thank you for responding to my post.
It was a strange application to begin with. I have a client that wants to generate "tags" for Adobe Pagemaker around the users input. There must have been some strange characters in the (original) preset tags I had coded that were causing the problem.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the original tags that (seemed to) caused the problem.
Therefore, I re-created the tags making sure that I formatted them within PageMaker, and the new tags do not give me a problem:

I would still like to know what was causing it but fortunately it has been resolved.
