Apache Look-Back Feature

On our Linux server at work, Apache has a look-back feature, where if I go to a URL like this:

http://www.logosoftwear.com/index.php/cows/rule/

I will look and not find /rule/ and then look and not find /cows/ and then look and find index.php, and direct me there.

On my WindowsNT Server at home, this doens't work. Is there a way to enable Apache's look-back feature on Win32 platforms?

I'm sorry - I don't have the answer for you, but I would like to know how that was achieved through a linux server. I have just moved host and I would love to have this feature on my server.

We figured it out, and it doesn't work on IIS. Gimme an email to remind me and I'll email you back/post to board later when I gethome from work.
