So here is the deal, I have been working rather frequently over the last couple of days on trying to get PHP + XML work using the DOM method rather than expat (I am much more familiar and comfortable with its procedures) Regardless, I am trying to make the transition from Win2K to Linux/Unix servers, but ASP was so damn easy when it came to XML.
Regardless, I was having absolutely no luck so I tried so simply copy the example scripts located at the url listed above, but rather than print out to the browser, as the author suggests,
Matt the Web Guy, contract employee
George the Mad Hacker, full time employee
Wookie the Hairy SysAdmin, part time employee
it prints out
the , employee
the , employee
the , employee
-> obviously, it is not printing out any of the information contained in the xml document.
I have contacted my host to make sure that everything is correct w/ the PHP installation regarding --with-dom and, according to him, all is well.
So what gives? Any ideas.
