free home page script

has anyone seen a script that will allow me to give users a free homepage (kinda like geocities) based off 5 or 6 templates?

I know perl code for this exists... I am looking for it in PHP

Seems easy enough to write.
Signup form-Create folder-Choose Template-Poplulate template-upload all images to subdirectory-wirte the html to directory with form variables.
I would put a counter of some sort on the page, this way, if it's not accessed for several weeks(months,years, whatever) it can delete itself (cron job every month or so).

Worst part seems to be comming up with 5 different, visually exciting templates.

This is an over-simplification. You'll need to maintain the logins/psswds and stuff. Shouldn't be too bad, though.

Hello

i have written one that uses PHP & Mysql,
when a user signs up it adds username/password, & account details into mysql database.
it creates there URL, and then the user can login to teh CPanel and build there website.
the CPanel has the following features.

upload files.
download files.
save, (tar) files/directorys (aka backup files)
delete files.
create directorys.
email lost password.
auto delete inactive accounts.
set which files types can/cannot be uploaded.
set Amount of MB's that can be used.
set inactive deletion time.
protect certain directorys in the users home dir from being deleted. (i.e. backup directory) & also add more dir's if needed.
display amount of disk space used.
