ok on my handle login i get this msg someone help me

i get that when i click submit on my login script go see www.babesoncams.com/login.php

someone plz tell me whats wrong

That error means that you've tried to send header info (such as cookies) After you've started outputting info. Even if you send a blank line that counts as output. try to look at your code for any output before sending headers.

Before sending headers:

PHP doesn't allow this.

you've got to test the username and password before the html tag.

you dont need to use the require function if you use the script from the book it will work fine

I see what it says, and I also see it's turning up after the login form. This means the login form is being sent before header() is being called.

So like Smifffy, ditch the require(). You don't need to (and you don't want to) display a login form on this page. Either their login was correct and they get redirected to index.php, or their login was wrong, and they get redirected to login.php.

They should never even see handlelogin.php!

You don't need to; you could have the form validation done by login.php if you like. If the username and password are correct, redirect the browser to index.php (and exit the script). Otherwise, continue on through to display the login form.

if($username and $password are correct){redirect and exit;}

Then again, handlelogin.php probably doesn't hurt much, either.
