Textarea concerns

Ey all... I have a slight problem regarding text areas: whenever I use text areas (like this), the page displaying the results of the post doesn't seem to reflect paragraph breaks or line breaks

like this...

I always need to explicitly include line breaks within MySQL values just for it to acknowledge these breaks...

Is there a better way to do this?

try doing this:

$text = str_replace("\n", "<br>\n", $text);

[hand]
