Sending attachments with mail using php?

Is it possible to send attachments with mail from php? I use the mail commmand, but can I somehow also send a file? VERY IMPORTANT AND URGENT, PLEASE reply quickly

i was looking last friday for a mail class that can handle attachements and i finally used the phpmailer-class from Brent R. Matzelle i found on phpclasses.org
