help....NON PHP Question

Hi,

I know i should use a HTML forum, but the people here really help out alot so i thought I would give a crack

basically i need to use frames ( i dont want to though)
i have a login page that when a user is authenticated, they are taking to a page that uses frames.

In the left navigationbar, i have a logout button that when pressed, enabled the person to log out.

Basically everytime the press it, the logout page loads in the left navigation bar when i want it to do i load the logout page in the browser window.

I know its a target command but not sure which one, have tried "_new_window", but no joy.

Can anyone help.

if you know the names of the framsets replace the target with the name of the frameset to load it in

for instance

target="_footer"

target="my_window"

this should be in the main page that loads the frames, usally index.htm/php/asp whatever.
