remote date counter?

Hello
I'm searching for a script to use on an e-commerce site where the date changes eg a sales offer ends at "midnight" - "dayname" - "day of month" - "month name". ie midnight 4 September - on the particular day the user is reading the webpage.
Basically is this required script called a remote date counter?

Huh?

"Offer ends midnight [insert today's date here]"? Why not just say "Offer ends midnight tonight"?

Or do you mean the date is adjusted to the user's local timezone? Risky, short of actually asking them what their timezone is (the way this forum does when you register).
