Formatting text output

I am tring to format output to an email message. I am using a mailto tag to place environmental info into an email subject and body. What syntax can I use to place:

IP ddress
User Agent
Tim

On different lines...like that

I tried \n but it does not place the following text on a new line. %20 DOES make a space though.

Please try \r\n or \r

Here is what I did. It still won't go to new line. Maybe I have a quote missing or something.

That did'nt do it...but thanks...I'll keep messing with it til I get it and I'll let you know if I do. It is not really that important, I am getting the information I need, just wanted to try to format it better. Thanks for the help, mate...

Strange, I am using WS Outlook 2000 as well. Did you go to my page and try it? I use text formating, not HTML or Rich text. I placed you code right in my page and it won't do it.

Yes I tested it at your page, and I saw that you're using %0A

I am using MSOutlook version 9.0.0.2711 on WIN2K-SP1. Maybe thatd the difference. There has got to be an easy explination. Have you seen other examples of placing output into a message body? Thanks

No I just tested your skript locally. I used rawurlencode to encode the strings and so I found out that cr = %0A

Well, unless I am missing something, I can't get that to work either. Oh well, thanks for all your help. I'll have more to go on later. I'll have more questions in the future though, thanks a lot!
