Hello All,
In my project I am computing some values and displaying the results in a page. The results are usually between 0.0 to 1.0. I want the results displayed not to have more than 2 digits after 0. That is if the result is 0.222256987441, I want to display it as 0.22 or 0.222. How do I do this?

I am sorry if I was not clear this is how I compute in my code:
$AAI=($AA500 + $AA1000 + $AA2000 + $AA4000)/120; and the result is displayed as a .xxxxxxxxxxx instead I want the result to be .xx. Any ideas/pointers/directions will be highly appreciated.

$roundedNumber = number_format($AAI, 2, ".", "");

There is a PHP function for almost every concievable operation you can perform on strings and numbers.

Download the manual if you haven't already and browse; In the future you'll have a rough idea of where to look.
