move_uploaded_file ???

Because of the server's SAFE MODE settings, I can't use copy and move. The hoster has told me that I can still make uploaders by using move_uploaded_file. I have however no idea to use it and, the manual doesn't really help me either. Could someone give me a simple example of how to make an (image) uploader using a form and move_uploaded_file?

I know this isn't exactly what u wanted, but perhaps this might shed some light on the subject?
