Make PHPmyAdmin save.

i'd like to put phpmyadmin on my webaccount to have the same comfort when i modify my db as on my localhost. i heard there was a way to do this save by protecting it with a http authentification. is there a package that i can download that does this?

once you install phpMyAdmin, edit a file name config.inc.php

chante a option $cfgServers[$i]['auth_type'] to http .

Now all the user access to the phpMyAdmin need to login first. By default it don't require any authentication. you can downlaod phpmyadmin from here
