Method of getting records - array or direct

Is it better to repeat each record in a list say 50 times and each time get the value from mysql...or once in the begining of the script, get all the values into an array and use them from there?

Just think of all the IO you prevent.

Thanks, I thought so too but couldn't be effed to write the extra code. It's fast enough at the moment, if it ever slows down I'll use the array method.

two people at most will be changing a very undynamic page.

About 300 records with images etc will be pulled at a rate of I estimate twice per hour 🙂.

I always found that the less load management thought app become THE app that everybody has to use after a few month and the intern who developed it is working in a Mc Donalds somewhere and he doesn't want to have anything to say with his code anymore...
