see new url on redirect

I am using header('Location :'.$newUrl);exit; to redirect to a web page. Everything is working fine but when it redirects to the new page the url in the address bar of the explorer is still in the old page, so if I press refresh it refreshes the old page.
How can I make that the explorer (any: Ms Explorer, Netscape, Opera, etc.) shows the current page ?????

You could try using a meta-tag to refresh instead.

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL=http://mysite.com/newurl.php" />

The first option is what I currently have and the second does not work. It tries to reach the url: newurl=newPage.php and there is no file called newurl=newPage.php !!!
