how to add Iframe information to db

Hi,

I'm creating a site for work where users must be able to type into a comment box. Ths might be a short paragraph or quite a long piece of text.

I've had problems saving this to the db in the past. Can anyone could tell me how I'd do this? I'd also like to be able to call the same field at a later stage back to an Iframe for editing purposes.

if it's more than 255 characters store it in a BLOB (depeding on max size of it) if your question is how to do this in PHP (updating DB and all) I suggest you read the numerous posts about updating a database.

NB : IFrames are a MAJOR security risk that most peeps don't use anymore...

I'm not sure about the security risk of Iframes as I'm behind a fire wall and have password protection etc. If it's still a risk though, is there another way of inputing such a large amount of text.

I fail to see what an IFrame would do for you as far as inputing is concerned.
What exactly do you want to do with the iframe? allow user to type large amount of data inside? display something?
