I know this isn't related to php, but can someone tell me why this clip of css won't set the size of my text on the page:

BODY {font-size: 8 pt;font-family:Verdana,Arial,Times New Roman; color:00000;}

It just defaults to the msie setting for text size, everything else works?

Try removing the space between the 8 and pt.

You also need a # for the colour var.

BODY {font-size: 8pt; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Times New Roman; color:#000;}
