[Resolved] Mysql info into page

Ok, it can be html, shtml, or php. I don't care, but how in the heck do I get my data from mysql into that page?

The page has a table set up 3 rows by 3 col's.
I want each "id" line in my mysql table to go into each box.

??

Thanks Danny, but that was alittle over my head. I tried to tear down the script to input my own, but couldn't get it to work.

That looks like what I have been making lately, (that don't work)but I need to populate. Have no idea how. I did prepare a page with tables and inserted this echo string some one else said would work, but guess what, it didn't.

I have html, shtml, php pages all set and ready with tables, one page each. So all I need to do is get whats in the database table in mysql to put it in my pages.
