This is my first time trying to use an RPM package. When trying to upgrade zlib I typed:
rpm -Uh /usr/lib/libz.so.1.1.3
and got
libz.so.1.1.3: read manifest failed: Success
What the does this mean?
Try looking on RedHat's site (they invented the RPM system in the firstplace) - it's not really a PHP specific problem.
