couier-imap with php

can anyone solve problem installing courier-imap,vpopmail,mysql with php..4.2.2???
this two error occured at ./configure time

cannot find rfc822.h, check your imap installation..

&

cannot find mysql.header file in /usr/include/mysql

Have you actually compiled and installed courier-imap and mysql?

Also, try 'locate rfc822.h' to see where it exists on the system.

I found this at another forum:

No, you must build uw-imap and copy linkage.h, rfc822.h and
mail.h to /usr/include and the static c-client.a library to
/usr/lib/libc-client.a
