Here is my plan. My parents lives ina village nearby Cracow, Poland. They let in the summertime 3 of their doublebed-rooms in their house for agro-tourists (tourists who want to live in simple but nature-close conditions).
Till now they was every year over- or underbooked so there was some problems with crossbookings and people that never came. So i will to build a booking application in their new website so any one could choose a room, time to come, meals, book online and see online the payment conditions.
I am not quite an experienced php-coder (i'm a designer whith some knowlegde) 😉
I think that there are some simple solutions for this kind of small needs. Maybe is there no need for MySQL? Maybe .txt manipulation would be enough? My Parents are not quite the computer freaks so the Backend must be userfriendly too(humanreadable forms with all the important data).
There are some solutions for sure. i would like to see some sql design and maybe some hints.
