Someone Help Me Please

Hi,
Im trying to complete a small php script which i thought should be simple. But i just cant seem to get anywhere.

I have a page which i need to be able to update with dynamically created links and pages for those links.

The form is two fields "Title" and "Text"
The Database fields are ID, Title and Text

The text area needs to have an unlimited amount of text input.

The output on the main page should be a list of links using the "Title" for the link.

I need the link to lead to a page which includes the Title and Text.

Can anyone help me? I dont need any formatting, i can handle that part. Just need help with the code.

You'll need to throw more eror checking in to ensure that the linkid is valid and doesn't cause mysql to choke, plus you WILL want to format it, but the basic construct is I believe what you want.

Thanks for the code to retrieve the data from MySQL. How do i get the data there in the first place?

Hi Craig,

I know this in not the answer to your question, but it could help. I'm fairly new to PHP and MySQL myself and I have found the book "PHP and MySQL Web Development" by Luke Welling and Laura Thompson to be absolutely invaluable. I have gone from continually banging my head on my desk due to problems, to actually programming a pretty robust database driven site. I would have never been able to do it without this book. I highly recommend you pick up a copy.

As I said, it's not the answer, but I'd probably just mess you up more if I tried to answer. The book will help you work out the answer.
