Syntax Format

Help, Can anyone explain to me what code used in HTML and PHP together is used to position database output on the screen.

Is there an X, Y type of syntax.

I can get the output in 1 row but if I want to display it at :

Name (at X and Y)

Address (at X and Y)

Anyone.

Hmm, i'm not realy sure what you mean... Are you wanting to display a list of results from a DB result array?

Hi, thanks for replying.

I know this may sound a silly question but what I am trying to do this dispaly the output from a database with the data NOT in a row but to be able to position it output like a form layout.

I can already produce the output in a row. Example:

If I have a database with the following fields:

name, street, town, postcode. I can produce the output from the database in a row. Can I produce the same data with the individual fields on different lines. I hope this is understandable.
