TWO Problems, Help Please!

Hi all:

I have two problems which are driving me crazy.
First off I need to mention that I am not an expert on php/mysql, so my problems may be really trivial.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm running, WinXp, Apache2, PHP4.2.3, mySQl3.23, phpMyadmin 2.3.0

Everything works. (almost 🙂 )

Problem 1:
I don't get to see the errors on my pages. I created a page which should result in mySQL errors (ie Warning not a valid....) , however the page just turns out blank. I've tested it on another platform and the error does appear.
So I guess my real question is how to turn on errors in mysql/php?

Problem 2 (phpMyAdmin):

In phpMyAdmin, when I try to view the structure of a table
the pages start to blink like crazy!!! Sometimes it ends up showing the data, sometimes not.
It is a really weird problem.
I did read the docs on phpMyAdmin, but didn't find anything.

Any help is HUGELY appreciated.

Lets go to your questions ...

1º Answer) Did u tried to check your config variables for php ? Try to find ur php.ini config file and take a look at the WARNING variables ...

2º) Ive seen this error before, and it wasnt a problem with php/mysql .. for me it looks more like a browser problem ... u knowz ... microsoft .....

1. firstly open your php.ini file and search for ERROR REPORTING, set it too All.

2. Its defently a browser problem, i had the same problem on a old machine, updated IE and it worked fine
