top referers sniplet?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has seen a top referers sniplet or script anywhere. I have been looking past couple days and have had no luck. Bascially all I want to do is put a top ten or 20 list on my main page that shows where my hits are comming from.

I have seen some "toplist" scripts that do something similiar but they require people to "signup" for them. That is exactly what I do not want. I just want to drop the top 10-20 right to my main page.

Any info would be appreciated.

best i can say is, each time your page is loaded grab the referer, test it against the db- if its already in there, ++ the counts column, then run a query to grab the MAX(hits) and limit it to 10(or 20)
