hi,
does anyone know of a free hosting a/c which will let me use the PHP ftp_connect($host) command? (please view the list below of the ones that i have already tried!).
please note: this is NOTHING to do with warez sites, or anything like that!
this is a c++ developer trying to write and test a thin client (php) to replicate the functionality of a thick client (borland c++builder).
specifically; the uploading of local files to a ftp directory.
by the way, the following dont let u run ftp_connect() commands!

where as, if u wanna search for free hosts which do offer basic php support, i used:
www.free-web-site-page.com/free_web_hosting_advanced.htm
if i was u, i would use a junk mail a/c while your checking out the hosts. by junk, i mean a temp a/c - such as junk@mydomain.com!
