I think that one of the best editor is Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. You can do the PHP (also ASP and Java Server Pages) without knowing anything about PHP.

But if you want to know what there is available, see this thread from a few hours back and some of the links therein.

Interesting: a PHP editor that means you don't need to know any PHP - is that like a word processor for the illiterate?

I like dreamweaver mx the best so far too 🙂

I've tried out Zend Studio, and nuSphere and various other editors, but I like dreamweaver best. I find it more comfortable. Zend studio and nusphere have some good debugging features and live previews and stuff, but dreamweaver has better support for javascript and lots of other stuff. so, I like it better.

I like the window layout it has too... everythings more accesable in it.

Ok that is just sad you can program without knowing anything about programming? Is that really a good thing? Have you ever been to a site or used a program built by someone who had no idea what was going on behind the scenes? They have a tendency to be broken a lot. Point and click programming has to be a sign of the apocolypse.

Okay, I do all the code by myself using notepad. I have seen pretty good systems making by Dreamweaver MX. In internet is lot of tutorial how to do that. Certainly is a good thing to know what happens in the code and coding by yourself you get what you want. PHP is pretty easy language too. In six month you can be good programmer and in five minutes you learn to "hello world" and other like things like that..
