When linking tables from MySQL to Access with MyODBC, it doesn't seem to matter what version of Access you use past '97. However, when trying to export tables to MySQL from Access '97 I keep getting SQL syntax errors.

Does anyone know if Access '97 is capable of exporting to MySQL through MyODBC, or do I need to use Access 2000/XP? Thanks in Advance ...

The version of access does not matter. You cannot "export" a table to mysql. You can copy records from access into a table in mysql. Keep in mind that access and mysql use different sql syntax so you may need to use a passthrough query. When you make a passthrough query in access you do not use the qbe window, you write directly in sql view and use mysql syntax. The statement will "passthrough" access and run on the server.
