getting value from option

Hi guys,

I have one form where a user needs to select from the available options:
print "<option value =\"yes\">No</option>";
print "<option value =\"no\">Yes</option>";

After, he/she presses submit button, post is redirected to a different PhP page.

How can I retrieve value of option? Whether it was "yes" or "no"?
$result = $HTTP_POST_VARS[""]; <--- not sure what to put here

you must put the select tag before option one..

print "<SELECT NAME=\" choice\">";
print "<option value =\"yes\">No</option>";
print "<option value =\"no\">Yes</option>";
print "</SELECT>

later you can access with the select tag name..i.e $choice..

$result = $HTTP_POST_VARS["choice"];
