Parameters are ignored with Win95??

Today, I installed Apache 1.3.26 with PHP 4.23 (using the php4apache.dll) on a old PC (P2/233) with Win95b. I installed the Socks2 and also the DCOM-Update. The Apache is working perfectly, and also PHP is working, but if I open a script like e. g. http://localhost/test.php?mode=3, the variable $mode is empty...

Why?? How can I fix this??

PS:I don't want to change the OS on that Computer (its not my one, im using XP and without such strange problems)

how can we see the script when u post localhost !!! what is your ip and i will look

Customize php.ini and set
register_globals = ON

Then restart Apache and send me a coffee
