Help: "Redirect" function??

Hello all. I am new to the forum here, but it looks very helpfull so far.

I am a fairly experienced VB and ASP developer, just getting my feet wet with php. I've been able to find comparable functions in php for just about everything I do in ASP execpt for one.

This sounds really stupid, but of several php books I've picked up and lots of web sites, I just can't find the answer.

How do I force the server to redirect the browser??? In ASP I would write this:

response.redirect "somepage.asp"

Basically, if a condition is true, I want the user to be forced to a new page.
