I use fsockopen to get several remote webpages. I have set the timeout in fsockopen to 10, but it doesn't make any difference, my script still waits for some hosts to respond long after 10 seconds have passed.
Why could this be?
Is it possible that some firewall between your server and the targets is blocking the communication?
