I've got a table with gametitles in it

I was wanting to know how to display results based upon a query where system = whatever system ... the display would show something like SELECT GAMES BY ALPHA... based upon the query, if there were no games with a certain letter in the beginning, it wouldn't list that letter... say the only games i have in the table are Anderson's Temple, Author's Quest, Mario Brothers, and Zebra --- remember just an example... so this will show: SELECT GAMES BY ALPHA: A M Z...

the other letters would not show because there are no games beginning with that letter...

also, how can i get it to list the # sign if a game has a number at the beginning?

Try using the ASCII escape \043
