how would you go about putting a select statement with in a select statement??
I dont know what do you mean by doing a select statement in a select statement. Do you want to do a new query from results you got from the previous query or what?
MySQL does not currently support sub-selects.
Unless the DBMS's SQL optimiser is smart, joining tables is often faster than subselects anyway.
