Hi all,
I have created a file upload feature for an intranet however ive noticed that if a word document is uploaded and then overwritten (i.e. it is updated with a new word document of the same filename) and I go to view it - it opens up word within my browser window and displays the previous version!
Is it storing the cached version of the word document somewhere?
If so, how do I automatically delete this cached version?
When I manually go the directory that I am storing the word documents in, the correct (i.e. updated) version appears and the old version is stored in my archive directory as it should.
When I logout of the intranet and log back in, the correct version is then shown.
I have not yet tested this with other files (i.e. PDFs, images etc)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
