Weird msg.X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.5 Content-type: text/html

This is weird. Every time I run a .php file this message
X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.5 Content-type: text/html
comes up at the top of the screen. Its doesnt seem to affect the running of my script but it isnt there in any of the source.
I have just overridden the php.ini file because I was having problems with the session.save_path being \tmp. The next script I run, this message came up, even on scripts not related to sessions.
ANY IDEAS. PLEASE HELP

I've tried that and it still comes up on every php page. Anyone with any other ideas
