Help! Mysql running slow on XP

Hey Guys,

What is the best way to find out why Mysql is taking forever to load a page?

This only happens when we import our data into the DB, if we don't have any data in the DB, or minimal, it runs fine?

If anyone can lend a hand with setting this up, i'd really appreciate it.

Out of curiousity, is mySQL running as a service or user?

I've had the same problem. It wasn't mysql's fault. I was using netscape to view my php pages. After switching to mozilla everything worked fine at normal speeds.
