Lotus Approach DB and MySql

I'm becoming very humbled in my quest to attach a database to a website. Here's the deal- there is an existing lotus database. i don't want to have to redo the entire thing. i am told i can use this for my database (php/MySQL) but nowhere can i find out HOW.

All the information i've come across shows how to do this if i actually have SQL installed on this computer..i don't, i'm using MyAdmin thru the internet.

Can ANYONE out there help me?!

to do a data dump of the lotus db (docs should tell you how to create a sql or text file) with the needed sql to create and fill the new tables in mysql. you can copy the text of the sql dump into a control panel window to execute and fill the DB. under phpmyadmin there is a function to dump the db this way (might be a way to make this point at the lotus db, don't know for sure)
