cannot load mod

Whenever I start the httpd in /etc/rc.d/init.d, it gives the following message:

Syntax error on line 255 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_php.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_php.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So when we try to open a web page through the browser....from the webserver....the page requested just displays the HTML coding...

Can someone help me.

do you have mod_php.so in your /etc/httpd/modules folder? 🙂
