Session and Javascript url_rewriter.tags

Hi im a not a total but a newbie to php i have the following problem i open some windows with javascript and the sessionid is not given to them!

in the php.ini i have set to if cookie is not possible use SID
but i think because of the "url_rewriter.tags" the SID is not set to the link!

i havent found documentation about url_rewriter.tags and how i can set it to work with Javascript!

i hope somebody can help me because the project has started and that promlem i havendt known before!

The code you posted has a new window opening named 'htmlsite.html' which leads one to wonder if you have instructed PHP to parse HTML pages as PHP. If not you need to have the javascript open htmlsite.php instead, then have the appropriate PHP code on the page you are opening.

If everything is set up right and PHP is still not appending the URL, then it is entirely possible PHP does not recognize javascript links. I cannot comment on that at all because I use neither javascript windows or $_SESSION's so I do not have any idea whether it does or not, but to be sure you could explicitly append the URL yourself with the SessionID.
