html format e-mail not wrap up on the screen

i am using php to send out html format e-mail. it works fine. but one client said the e-mail he received will be a very long line one paragraph, not wrap up to several lines to the window size.

what is the problem here? could it be his outlook set up differently?

most likely, his e-mail client doesn't support HTML.

Please try insert \r\n at the end of each message line and in headers as:

$message = "<html>\r\n";
$message .= "<head><title>Title</title></head><body>\r\n";
$message .= "Blah blah</body></html>\r\n";
$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$headers .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
$headers .= "From: Me <me@there.com>\r\n";
$headers .= "Bcc: bcc@another.com\r\n";

Well done, you've discovered that different operating systems use different linebreak conventions. Microsoft's braindead "two characters per new line" dates back to when the 80s and PCs were both new and Microsoft bought the first versions of MS-DOS (you didn't think they wrote it, did you?). Everyone else was already using just "\n", but Microsoft wasn't about to go along with that.
