simple search question

how can i do so that when i do a search and dont have the complete name of what im looking for then it still displays the result. lets say im looking for php builder but i only remeber php. if i do a search right now then it'll say that it didnt find anything, but i want to to display all the things that have php in it.

no it has nothing to do with the forum.
im mean about a sql statement or php statement. i want to search my database for something with two or more words like: moon river. if do the search by moon only or river only then it will say it didnt find anything. i want to work in such a way that when i type moon then it'll look for everything containing moon, thus finding moon river. how can i do this?

You can use the 'LIKE' operator
SELECT * FROM table WHERE field LIKE '%moon%'

this would return results like:
moon river
full-moon
full moon river
moonpie
