inserting white spaces !!!!!

thanks a lot sarahk for your help.
I did what u said , the <br> works for inserting new line but the <spacer > tag doesn't work and i get "parse error, unexpected T_STRING" message.
I read in php help that all the HTML tags can be parsed , so why i get such amessage.

By the way what i can do for inserting space in my page .
