I am trying to query a sports database and parse the results in a different format on the screen. Here is the URL:
http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=11&sFirstName=Kyle&sLastName=Wright
I enter that in a .php script I have that basically grabs just a few things from the page and prints it on the screen. Unfortunately I get the following error:
Warning: fopen("http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=73&p=9&c=11&sFirstName=Kyle&sLastName=Wright", "r") - Success in /where/the/file/is/stored/parser.php on line 42
This has always worked on static pages, what is the issue with a dynamic URL?
If you can't browse the required page through your browser, how can you expect php to fetch it?
(The supplied page redirected my browser to some secure page)

Looks like you need a username and password to get to that place.
Fixed🙂 It was a member area, my bad🙂
